Summary
I can honestly say that earning my doctoral degree is one of my proudest accomplishments in life. As a small child, I had the ability to take things apart and put them back together without instructions. I was able to gain knowledge without being taught because I had a hunger to learn. Formal education has exposed me to theoretical and practical concepts. My interest in cybersecurity stems from a few different factors which have directly affected me. First, I have a law enforcement background and have been exposed to the criminal element. Second, I have extensive knowledge in IT security and networking. A mixture of the two has provided me the essential tools to substantially contribute to the cybersecurity field.
