Terry Ryan is a highly experienced Certified Protection Professional with over 30 years of security management and training expertise. With an extensive background in the US, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, Terry has led and managed risk assessment teams, critical infrastructure protection programs, threat analysis, risk database development, and security training programs for both government and commercial clients. Terry has supported a wide range of sites, including military complexes, commercial facilities, urban high-rise buildings, airport facilities, bridges, hydropower facilities, locks and dams, sports venues, hospitals, data processing centers, and COOP sites.

As a retired US Army Military Police Officer, Terry now operates as an independent consultant under the name TRyan Antiterrorism / Force Protection, LLC. Since starting in 2014, Terry has been based in Asheville, North Carolina, and has successfully provided support in risk management, infrastructure protection, threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, and database tool development for Federal, state, local government, and private clients. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Terry worked as a Sr. Security Specialist at Raytheon for over 10 years, where they managed programs specializing in risk management, infrastructure protection, threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, and database tool development.

In addition to their extensive professional experience, Terry holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Management from Webster University in St. Louis, MO and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Criminal Justice from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. With their impressive credentials and broad expertise, Terry is a highly capable and knowledgeable professional in the field of security and protection.
